Divine Vintage Story Walk

Book lovers, join us for the Divine Vintage Story Walk (for adults) on July 17, 10:00a – 12:30p.

You will enjoy an engaging stroll through Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District, where history, mystery, and modern charm come together. This event promises not only a wellness walk but also an enriching experience featuring tales inspired by Sandra L. Young's novel, *Divine Vintage*.

This author-led walk begins at the beautiful Barker Mansion, the inspiration for "Carver House" in the novel. The tour will proceed to significant landmarks including Good News Vintage, Trinity Episcopal Church, Horizon Bank, Michigan City Public Library, City Hall, Lubeznik Center for the Arts, and The Old Lighthouse Museum. Each location enhances the narrative of the novel, intertwining the historical and contemporary allure of Michigan City.

Want to keep the fun going? Join the optional gathering at Shoreline Brewery to raise a glass, toast the day's experiences, and enjoy further conversation with Sandra L. Young and other book-loving friends from the tour.

This event operates on a donation basis, with a suggested contribution of $20 - $40; however, participants are encouraged to donate as they are able. Let’s walk, share stories, and create memorable moments together.
